Monday, 26 July 2010 13:40 The new exciting Drinan Enterprise Centre is an ideal location for start up businesses and small and medium sized enterprises. It is a new quality development of Enterprise starter units amounting to a total of 31 units, 17 of which are occupied immediately. The centre, which is a local authority initiative, is situated in a prime location, close to the M1 motorway, Dublin airport, the Port Tunnel and the proposed new Metro North, all of which give easy access to the city centre and beyond. There are customised training facilities available at the centre which also affords invaluable networking opportunities. Another feature at the centre is the opportunity to use professional meeting rooms equipped with broadband, digital projectors and conference call facilities. From a security point of view, each unit is fully alarmed with swipe card access for flexible and secure working arrangements. There is a 24 hour security system in place, including CCTV and an on-site management company, which ensures the park is maintained to the highest standards. There is a wide range of companies already in the centre and they range from Chartered Accountants, to a graphics company, where you can get business cards customised. One of the most unusual services provided is a company which installs water meters for business and domestic properties. All in all, there is a wide variety of interesting and varied companies, who, by locating in this exciting new centre, are ideally placed to be part of the re-emerging wider economy. Pictured at the unveiling of the plaque at the official opening of Swords Enterprise Park, Drynam, Kinsealy on Thursday 15th July last are L-R, Darragh O'Brien TD, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Innovation, Batt O'Keeffe, County Mayor Ken Farrell, Michael Kennedy TD and Monica Harford, Balbriggan Town Councillor. |
