Spice of India restaurant on Main Street in Swords is celebrating its second year trading in the town.
In that time, the restaurant, which specialises in the finest food from the Indian sub-continent, has developed its own clientele and its reputation is growing all the time.
Co-owner Suleman Mohammed was delighted with the enhanced reputation. He told the County Leader; “We do very well and we have gotten good reviews. We cater for parties where a great atmosphere is guaranteed. We also cater for smaller groups and individuals.
“Specialty dishes include Lamb Shabnom, as well as beef steaks which are very popular. We also pride ourselves on our Chicken and Naga Lamb. We also cater for Bangladeshi customers, who favour this dish.
“We also specialise in Shlthy Curry which comes from southern India and there is a strong demand for this popular curry.”
Spice of India is open 7 days a week, with lunch served every day, including Sunday from 1pm to 4pm, which is proving very popular with customers.
