LGBTI week went down a huge success in Lusk Community College. The week was to spread awareness of the LGBTI community.

It was filled with activities every day, from raising the rainbow Pride flag to rainbow cupcake baking in the Home Economics room on Wednesday and music being played every morning, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Stickers were given out at lunch to show support and every SPHE class was shown a PowerPoint on STAND UP LGTBI awareness to explain to everyone what it was and what would be happening during the week.

Lusk CC opened their first gender neutral toilet, which means that people of any gender or any identity can use it. And the Gay Straight Alliance Club was set up by students in Lusk CC and will hold meetings twice a month. Overall, it was a fantastic week that everyone enjoyed.
