Generous Gesture By Lusk Adventurettes

As we are all aware, this is the season of good will and a time when we think of others less fortunate than ourselves.

With that in mind, a group of young girls aged between 9 – 13 years who are part of the Lusk Adventurettes Youth Club, very generously decided that, instead of doing Kris Kindle amongst themselves at Christmas, they would buy a gift for children and young people less fortunate than themselves.

As homelessness is a huge issue and these girls are very aware of it, they decided to give these presents to the children and young people who are living in the Family Hub in Mater Dei, Clonliffe Road.

Each of the girls chose a gift for one of the children who are currently living in the Family Hub and these presents were delivered to a very excited group of children, who thought that Santa Claus had arrived early.
