The Fingal Leader Partnership have recently launched a new service that includes a new computer home service, as well as their care and repair service.
This news has been welcomed by local councilor Joe Newman (NP) who told the County Leader: “The computer home support service is a real breakthrough which I firmly endorse. A training adviser will help people who have little or no experience of working with computers, or mobile phones.
All advisers have been passed through Garda vetting and will carry identification at all times. They will call to your home and help you to negotiate the problems of computers and smart phones, which are so vital in modern society.
“Everyone over the age of 55 can avail of this service and this is in conjunction with the existing care and repair service, which is absolutely fantastic facility and I urge people to avail of this invaluable service, as smart phones, while really useful, can be difficult to navigate at times.”
