Kinsealy United entered in two teams into a recent under 10s cup competition, and almost pulled off a unique double.
One of the teams won their cup, whilst the other one performed heroically losing out in the plate final on penalties to local rivals, Swords Manor FC.
This was the first time the under 10s got their hands on a piece of silverware and coaches, Ciaran and Aidan worked wonders. Alan Curran deserves great praise for winning the top goal scorer trophy when he topped seven goals,a great feat. Kinsealy won all their matches, beating Stella Maris in the final, 3-0
Unfortunately the other team lost to Swords Manor on penalties after extra time. Overall it was a wonderful achievement by this excellent club.
