Before roaring off to New Zealand with the British and Irish Lions, Leinster Rugby’s Jack McGrath lined out at the launch of the Castleknock 5k run in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland – Dublin West Branch.
The event, sponsored by Windsor Clonee Nissan and Peugeot, takes place on Sunday, 18th June in the wonderful grounds of Castleknock College. Families, runners and walkers of all levels are invited to take part, where prizes and refreshments will be provided following the race.
Commenting on the sponsorship, David Simpson, Sales Manager of Windsor Clonee Nissan and Peugeot, said “Windsor Clonee Nissan and Peugeot is an important part of the Windsor Motor Group and I am personally excited to be involved with the Castleknock 5k run, as it is run in memory of my good friend Rory Doherty. I am also delighted to be helping the event raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.”
This is the fourth year of the Castleknock 5k, which continues to grow in strength and in numbers each year. In 2016 the event raised €17,000 for The St. Francis Hospice in Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.
