Fingal Dublin Chamber hosted a Breakfast Networking event at the Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport on Thursday, 20th October last, with about 60 people in attendance. The event, which was hosted by Chamber President, Guy Thompson and Chamber CEO, Tony Lambert was titled, “Managing Growth at Dublin Airport” The guest speaker was Vincent Harrison, Managing Director of Dublin Airport, who spoke to chamber members about the double digit growth at the Airport and the importance of maintaining good customer service. Dublin Airport has seen record growth in the past few years, with 25 million passengers passing through the airport last year, which is set to be surpassed this year. He also spoke about progress with the new runway and how it will have a beneficial impact on all aspects of both the local and the national economy. The amount of new destinations from the award winning airport has increased greatly in the recent past, giving customers wonderful travel options to a variety of exciting destinations, which augers well for the airport, which continues to expand at a steady rate.
