Richies Bike Store, which is ideally situated in Town Centre Mall, off Main Street in Swords, has developed into one of Dublin’s premier cycle stores specialising in quality bicycles and accessories.
It opened for business at its present location in August 1995. Proprietor, Richie McNamara is very proud of the business he set up, as he celebrates 20 years serving the public in Swords,
He said, “Our fully qualified, professional staff are on hand from Monday to Saturday to serve the public and offer you quality and informed advice, whatever your query may be, to the best of our knowledge and ability. We pride ourselves on having the ability to pair each customer with the bicycle most suited to their everyday needs. Richies Bike Store runs a “same day” repair service, which means you and your bicycle are off the road for minimal time. Small repairs are generally done on the spot to allow minimum inconvenience to customers. It is, effectively a one stop shop for the cycling requirements of people in Swords and further afield. Richie’s Bike Store also provides a unique service to his many clients. “With every bike that we sell, along with the manufacturers’ guarantee, which generally applies to the frames and the parts, we also service our own bikes free of charge for as long as people own them. This is a massive selling point for us, as we know of no other bicycle shop that provides such a service,” he said.
In congratulating Richie on providing such a long service in Swords, President of Fingal Dublin Chamber, Siobhan Kinsella said, “It is always great to see a business like Richies lasting 20 years in Swords. Specialised businesses like Richies Bike Store will always find a solid customer base in a great town centre like Swords.”
