Almost 1.5 million passengers travelled through Dublin Airport last month, which was a 17 per cent increase on last year.
Passenger volumes to and from continental Europe increased by 25 per cent, with more than 700,000 passengers travelling to European destinations. UK traffic recorded an increase of nine per cent, with almost 632,000 passengers travelling to and from UK destinations.
Passenger volumes to and from North America grew by seven per cent with almost 82,000 passengers travelling on flights to and from the United States and Canada in February.
Other international traffic, principally to the Middle East and North Africa, increased by 32 per cent, with almost 51,000 passengers travelling these routes in February.
Just over 5,000 passengers travelled on domestic routes last month, a 23 per cent increase over February 2014. Passenger numbers at Dublin Airport are up 15 per cent to just over 2.9 million for the first two months of this year.
