DIATA, (Dublin International Aviation Training Academy), the training arm of DAA International, is to host a major global aviation conference in Malahide later this month.
About 300 delegates from up to 190 countries will attend the Global Aviation Training & Trainair Plus Symposium, which is being organised by ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation), and will be held at the Grand Hotel, Malahide from March 24th – 27th.
“We are delighted to bring such a prestigious aviation conference to Ireland and to Malahide,” said daa International Chief Executive, Colm Moran. “Aviation is one of the most regulated and compliance based industries in the world and with so many specialised areas in the aviation business, it is vital that people are well equipped with the right skills to do the job. Conference participants will have the opportunity to discuss best practice in training, the resourcing challenges facing the aviation business and even more crucially, how we collectively ensure that our industry is well prepared for the future.”
The conference will be a major showcase for DIATA, which is aiming to become a leading global player in aviation education, working in tandem with key industry bodies such as ICAO, Airports Council International and IATA.
The Malahide conference will showcase ICAO’s Trainair Plus Programme, which is the main tool used in developing and delivering training courses that meet ICAO’s specific compliance requirements.
