Paul Furey, Committee member and coach with Malahide United, told the County Leader, “ This is a great way for players and their families to get involved in this great initiative. It’s great to also support the local community programmes and to invest in the improvement of new equipment for the football club.” From May 1, the JGF will be accepting applications from clubs to fund football/community projects, etc., that will help promote community cohesion, participation, education and health.
